Celebrate New Year’s Eve at the beach with the Island of Lights New Year’s Eve Celebration—a free, family-friendly event featuring a DJ, dancing, refreshments for purchase, and festive NYE hats and noisemakers. Ring in 2026 with a giant beach ball drop at midnight, followed by a spectacular fireworks show. The event alternates yearly between Carolina Beach and Kure Beach and will be held in Kure Beach for the 2026 countdown.
