House was as describe and adequately stocked. Was very clean and comfortable Access to beach was easy and location near Fort Fisher was nice. Management was responsive to inquiries. Not being a ROKU user was disappointed live TV was limited on the biggest 4 day football holiday of the year. Loved the use of the garage which made loading and unloading simple, dry and warm. Dishwasher did not clean somethings as well as my home machine and coffee pot needed descaling. We would certainly come back and stay again.

Great location lots of room clean needs a little tlc

We came for a wedding in Wilmington and decided to have an extended family beach vacation. The house was stocked well, clean, and so welcoming and comfortable. We had a wonderful time and look forward to staying again.

This house was a great setup and layout really allowed our families the chance to enjoy our time together. Beach access isn’t far even though it’s across the street. If you plan on swimming the beach is pretty narrow due nature so on access is better than the other for sure- especially with kids. House has a lot of good areas to sit and hangout and kitchen was great for talking while we cooked and having multiple cooks in the kitchen. Check in was super easy and host was very easy to work with. Overall good stay and lots of great memories.

To the beach was short and had an easy access for carrying beach gear. The staff at the property management company however was not very helpful. They originally said we could possibly check in earlier than 4 pm. Once we arrived at the house we noticed it had been cleaned already. They stated call back at 2 pm. A female
Answered the call at 2 pm and had a very short and rude tone and stated the property could not be accessed until
4pm. The early checkout 10am paired with such a late check in not something I’ve experienced with any other Vrbo rental
At this point . You lose a lot of time for the price . The house itself is great. The management company not so much.

Our family of 10 had a wonderful time at Breath of Heaven. The home was clean, kitchen well stocked, small charcoal grill, all the linens were very nice, plenty of parking , lots of kids beach toys and great location! We enjoyed morning walks, fishing at FF, ferry to Southport, the beach, the pier and nearby restaurants! Weather was perfect. Would definitely rent this home again.

Everything was good at the rental with the exception of the TV remotes. Each TV in the bedrooms and living room had a different way to turn it on and get to local channels. I would suggest a universal remote option for all TV's.

We experienced another awesome family fishing trip here at Breath of Heaven. The place is perfect for our group. It is very spacious and always clean. The owner has graciously provided all you would need for a weeks stay! The area is quiet and the location to Fort Fisher is perfect for our group. A1 Property is wonderful to work with. We hope to be back again next year!

Wonderful vacation!!!! Our family of eight had a wonderful time at Kure Beach. Breath of Heaven is the perfect place to stay!!! We had plenty of room for everyone and the house was very clean. The neighborhood was very nice and quiet at night. The group at A1 Property are very good to work with and they make sure all will be ready for your stay!!! We love the place and hope to visit again soon!!!

Great Experience. Very comfortable home in quiet area but close to ocean.

The house was clean, most importantly. It was nicely appointed and a good location for our trip. The house was within sight of the Fort Fisher park. That made for a quiet stay as the traffic was light. Overall, it was a great stay and we will are planning on coming back.

We really enjoyed our week here! The house is as pictured and more. The beach is just across the street! The location is perfect. The house is equipped with everything you need to cook, clean, wash and relax. We had a few minor bugs issues but nothing major. Bug spray was available. Property management is friendly and responded promptly to any issues.

We enjoyed our stay at “Breath of Heaven”. It was a beautiful and CLEAN home. And a short walk to the beach. ☺️

Great house for our family. Loved how it was laid out and was in a great location. Could use a little work here and there - nothing major. Carpet needed cleaning or replacement. All the doors squeaked really loud and if anyone got up, it woke up others in other rooms. Last, the beds also squeaked everytime you moved - my son had a hard time sleeping b/c of it. Would return.

It was wonderful and we would love to stay at this place again. My husband really loved the house.

The house was perfect for our group and in a great, quiet location. Only had to cross the street for a stroll on the beach. The kitchen was not as well stocked as we would have liked for preparing a Thanksgiving meal, but the management company responded very quickly by bringing missing items over immediately...even came by on Thanksgiving day! Overall a great vacation getaway.

The house is lovely, the furnishings great. Comfortable beds and sofa. Very good location. Our only complaint is the front door is not under cover--it's under a deck and when it rains, you get wet going in and out the front door. And it rained almost every day of our stay.

We’ve stayed here a few times. It’s a pleasant home with good amenities. The dryer was not working properly which was a bummer because it was a great inconvenience to our family. Someone came to try to fix it but I did not work and when I emailed again I never heard anything back. Overall we enjoy the place and would most likely return.

We loved the house; plenty of space for everyone to spread out; very comfortable furniture in the family room. Close proximity to public beach accesses was a plus as was the availability of the beach cart! Sure made trips to the beach easy. We were contacted by the rental management company a few times during our stay to coordinate appointments for contractors: 1) repair of a garage door (we were not using), and 2) price quote for painting outside of home. While these were not a huge inconvenience to us, it would have been better to arrange those for after our stay. There was one issue with the cleanliness of the house of which I advised David upon our departure because we simply chose to not focus on it during our stay (it was something that could be set aside). He was very apologetic. That said, every time we stay in a rental property, even though it's 'cleaned' prior to our arrival, I clean it again. There were a few things that had not been cleaned upon our arrival, but since I cleaned anyway, I didn't mention it to the rental company. I was contacted by A1 management approximately a week or more after we were back home, asking if anyone in our family had left an electronic device that they had discovered on top of the refrigerator in the kitchen. This had been left by a previous renter weeks before that should have been discovered when the house was being cleaned after that family's visit. David was a pleasure to work with, very accommodating, and we will definitely book with A1 again. Side note: On the first night of rental, guests are not to enter the rental property prior to 4 p.m. I understand that the time from a previous renter's Check-out which is 10:00 a.m., through 4:00 p.m. that same day, is to provide the cleaning crew sufficient time to do their job, but when a rental is cleaned and ready for guests prior to that time, I believe the guests should be notified and permitted in prior to 4 p.m.

This is now the 3rd review that I have written which is being done because neither of the previous two have been posted.We stayed at Breath of Heaven in September for a week and it is a lovely home, very spacious, plenty of comfortable seating in the great room and dining room, all the necessary kitchen essentials, and the bonus was having a beach cart at our disposal throughout our stay! This home is comfortable, quiet, and across the street from two public beach access locations.Upon arrival, I have always cleaned every rental we've ever booked, so the fact that some areas of this home had not been cleaned thoroughly wasn't a huge concern. However, there was one issue with linens in one of the bedrooms that had been overlooked by the cleaning personnel. Because it did not impact our stay, I chose to set this item aside and not address it with David until our stay ended. Once informed about this, he was extremely apologetic for the oversight.One other item that requires attention is the dryer in the home; it just does not dry well and in fact requires 2-3 x more cycles just to get a normal load of clothing dried. I noticed a couple of comments from previous renters about this as well. Not sure if the venting needs to be cleaned (obstruction?) or if the dryer itself needs repair or replacement. Having a washer and dryer available is always a plus in my book. The extra drying time was a slight inconvenience.We were contacted a few times during our stay to coordinate contractors coming to the house to 1) fix a garage door opener (we were not using) and 2) provide an estimate for painting the outside of the house. While these were not huge inconveniences, in my opinion they could/should have been scheduled for a time after we had checked-out.Overall, our stay was pleasant and dealing with David at A1 was effortless! We will definitely book with A1 again.

Property:   We loved the house and location. The house was so spacious with 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. The living area had plenty of room for a large family and the whole place was so clean and neat! We loved the decks with views of the ocean! The kitchen had everything we needed, with new appliances. There were plenty of things to do in the area; we particularly enjoyed the short stroll to Kure Beach and also visiting Fort Fisher Civil War Museum.

Property:   Beautiful, well kept property with easy access to beach. Main floor is inviting with open floor concept, private deck area, & bedrooms very comfortable and spacious. Entire house is modern & immaculate! Kure Beach is amazing & the area is very nice with restaurants, shops & such. Historical landmarks within walking distance. Highly recommend. Great for families or even a small group retreat.

Property:   I liked the location of the property. It was a 1-2 minute walk from the beach and less than 5 minutes from the pier. The property itself was spacious and the open layout of the kitchen and living room was ideal. We liked the master suite on the main level. The decks and balconies were an added bonus.
