Docks, Decks and Sunsets

Perfect location to enjoy the beach as well as the calm of the intercoastal. Close enough to walk to downtown and enjoy activities. Night time was quiet and serene.

The house was just what we needed for all of us. Plenty of room, very cool inside, comfortable, very well stocked kitchen, LOADS of activities for our 4 boys. They really enjoyed the paddle boards and kayaking. The walk to the beach was a breeze. I knew there were a lot of stairs, but it was worth it. The only thing that I would have liked was a cabinet or pantry to put our groceries in. The lazy susan had some space in it, but we ended up having to put most of our groceries on the bar. Overall, the location was excellent, the amenities were excellent, the home was very nicely furnished, very cool inside, beds were comfortable, and the home had everything we needed. Thank you for an enjoyable stay!

This property was just right for us. Our main intention and activity for our stay was fishing. The dock was just right for us with very easy access to the ICW and CB inlet. There is plenty of water under it at low tide, suitable for large boats up to 30+ feet. The location is just 1 mile from the boardwalk, shops and restaurants of CB. The view is very nice. The condo is well appointed and the kitchen met all of our needs. There are paddle boards and kayaks which we did not use. The unit was clean for sure when we arrived. I did not choose 5 stars for this (spotless) because the carpet through out (only in bedrooms), is in need of replacing. There are scuffs on many walls. With so many renters using properties, it’s to be expected. It is however a little stressful after you check in and consider what damage you should report, wondering what is already known or could some of it be new from the last renter. It can be time consuming to annotate everything so I tried to summarize instead of annotating it all. This condition did not bother us at all aside from trying to make sure it was known. We would stay here again, it was perfect for our needs.

This rental was a delight and perfect for our family gathering. There was plenty of room. Communication, cleanliness, overall amenities were exactly as described and couldn't have asked for more.

We had a great time staying at this house right on canal ! Property management team was great to work with. Great communication and made renting go smoothly!

Three nice balconies with stunning view of the bay. Really awesome house, too many impressive points to even mention. Had a great vacation here! Steep steps, so consider that, otherwise enjoy!

The perfect place for the perfect vacation

Great vacation at Carolina Beach! House and location were both amazing. House was well equipped with everything we needed. View from the three balconies was beautiful watching the sunrise and sunset. Management responded quickly and helped with all our needs.

Mostly wonderful. I was scolded because I did not register in advance that we had dogs with us, but I did not find anywhere on the form to indicate that.

We had a great stay! The condo is spacious with comfortable beds and well-equipped kitchen (although there is no pantry space available). Gorgeous sunset views and a block to the beach for sunrise and beach walks. Management was very responsive.

We had a group of 4 couples, attending a wedding in Wilmington. Plenty of room for all! Loved the living room/kitchen area with the view/balcony. We enjoyed having coffee together in the mornings and cocktails in the evenings! House had everything we needed for cooking! Very clean. Great location!

Really enjoyed the property. Being on the canal was nice. Kayaks and paddle boards available for use along with a grass grill. Was nice to hang out on the decks facing the canal. Kitchen was well stocked. Location was only 1.5 blocks from the beach. More or less had to drive to get to shops and restaurants being a ways up the strip between the canal and the ocean. Lots of steps being 4 levels. Only negative was the shower and tubs could have been cleaned a bit better.

We had an amazing family vacation. The home was perfect in every way, clean, well stocked, and it was in a great location. My granddaughters learned to paddle board, and kayak. We all fished off the pier and watdhed beautiful sunsets.

It was awesome! We had so much fun on the dock with the paddleboards we barely went to the beach. Only complaint is the flooding at hi tide. We had to park the car several blocks from the house and walk through water to get home. Other than that, very good experience.

Great views in a very well-equipped, user-friendly house. I loved that everything was labeled. It was very clean and we had great communication with the property manager. Good location too. Lots of steps!

Beachy decor throughout and spectacular views that just never get old to look at! Clean, spacious and steps from the most gorgeous serene and spacious beach!

Stayed here for a girls weekend. We had a blast. The location was perfect. We loved looking out on the bay side. Watched a family of ducks glide by. Saw pelicans. Enjoyed the boats, kayakers and paddle boards too. On that note, several in our group used the onsite paddle boards & kayaks and had a great time. Some of us walked the really short distance over to the beach and got some great sun. We also walked down to the boardwalk. Cute shops and rides. The house was really spacious. We never got in each other's way. We also made good use of the games provided. We purchased fresh seafood from the local seafood market and had some seriously good meals. Then of course there was wine... :-) I would highly recommend this house to everybody. Just don't try to steal the weekend that I want to return LOL.

Property is so peaceful and relaxing!! We enjoyed storm clouds and rainbows on the beach side and relaxing views of boats & birds on the bay side. Walking to the beach could not be easier - so close! Bedrooms were comfortable and kitchen well-appointed. 2 kings, 2 queens and 3 bunks from what I remember. No complaints at all!!!

We absolutely had a great time during our stay. The house was spacious and clean.Views from our deck were awesome and the owner was great.Will definitely stay here again

Beautiful area and location. Condo was nicely furnished and everything needed for our stay was supplied. Owners were present during renovations on another unit and were very friendly and accommodating. A lot of steps for someone elderly or with knee issues but necessary due to location.

Hi my name is Sandra I want to tell you that we had a wonderful stay at Docks, Decks and Sunsets. We come to NC every year to visit my husbands brother and family. My husbands brother has a boat and he brought it over for the week. The boat slip is perfect. My husband and I love to fish and crab so having the boat slip there was perfect. The house was very clean and I loved the different levels. We got a great work out going up and down the steeps but it's worth the view and location. Sandra Reich

The place is very nice and had everything we needed. Views of the sunset were perfect. The only downside is all the stairs when you first get there lugging all your groceries and luggage, but once you've done that just relax on any of the three decks overlooking the waterway and then just a block over to the beach access.
