Easy to rent the property, no unpleasant surprises, all costs accurately described up front, and the property was gorgeous and comfortable. I’ve used A1 in the past and have never been disappointed.

Excellent stay by the beach. The condo was well maintained, very clean and overall a great place to stay for our family of four.

The accommodations were in a great local. Management took great care in attention to was very comfortable and clean. The decor was perfect for the living space. Really could not ask for a better time and location.

Nice location with beautiful views. Loft spiral stairs a little tricky to maneuver with luggage but family had a nice time.

We had a delightful stay in this charming condo. We could walk to the aquarium and pier. The indoor pool/ hot tub were directly across the street.

Awesome experiance! It was our 50th Anniversary and the A1 team left us a nice surprise treat in the condo. Everyting was clean and ready for us.

We stayed a week at Ocean Dunes 1603 and had the best time! We didn’t know really what to expect as it is a one bedroom with a loft. We were pleasantly surprised how big it felt. It was very clean and felt like home immediately. The only callout for future guests would be the bed in the master is incredibly firm. A foam pad would make a big difference if you like a softer bed. Overall, we really enjoyed this condo, would recommend and would stay again!

We loved this house! We have two small children - 7 and almost 2, and it was PERFECT. The house was equipped with everything we would need, (when I saw the fan in the master bedroom closet, I knew these were my kind of people!). The proximity to the beach was perfect for short trips with our littles. We loved exploring Kure and Carolina Beach, and everything was such a short drive. There was NO noise to contend with, the traffic was minimal, and the beach view was perfect. We loved the indoor pool as well! Having the in-unit washer and dryer made my stay so much more comfortable as I had ZERO laundry to do once I got home! I’ve already recommended this unit to several of my friends. It was our best beach experience BY FAR!

My ONLY recommendation would be for a small vacuum, I felt so bad leaving crumbs from our littles that the broom just wouldn’t pick up!

We stayed at Ocean Dunes 1603 for a week in April. The weather was a nice 80 degrees during the day and only rained for a few minutes one afternoon. The condo is clean and well maintained. All basic cooking utensils are provided along with coffee maker and toaster. The only downside was the firmness of the beds but the couch opens to a bed that suited us well. We’re looking forward to returning next year.

The view was absolutely amazing! I have never stayed so close to the ocean before—and opening the sliding glass doors and listening to the waves was such a joy! The condo was decorated very well. I really liked the colors and style. Furniture was comfy and attractive. I loved everything about it.

We absolutely loved our time at Haven. It is every bit as beautiful as the picture show. We loved the mix of beach and antique decor. You could tell great care was put into decorating and finding unique pieces.

Listening to the ocean from the back deck, watching the sunrise and strolling the peaceful beach, was exactly what my tired soul needed.

We found some great restaurants in the area, in fact Jack Mackerels had the best oysters I've had in many years...and the shrimp was out of this world too.
We didn't want to leave, and I wish I was still there!!!

This is one of our favorite places to stay. Can drink coffee and watch the sun rise off of the balcony of this condo. Always very peaceful and a great place for a small family! We have booked this condo again for our next trip! Btw this place also has access to the only indoor pool on the island..great for those fall and winter trips!

We absolutely loved our stay at the Ocean Dunes. My boys enjoyed the loft area and peeking down at us every morning in the living room. Loved how close the property is to the beach. Was very clean and loved the decor. Perfect size for our family of 4.

We are a family of 4 with two little kids, and stayed here for the week before 4th of July. All of us had a great time! The house was extremely clean, well maintained & equipped, and tastefully decorated. My 7 yo and I enjoyed reading every single tip in the guest manual. The deck was large enough for my beach front yoga and the deck furnitures were so neat that my husband and I were wondering where they got those! :) Coming to Kure beach each year has become a family tradition for us and we always discover something new each time. We stayed with A1 for at least 3 times and none disappointed us. Thanks for helping us making memories.

We were beach front and the unit was clean and nice. We had everything we needed in the unit to live just like we were at home. We didn't have any complaints at all.

We enjoyed every minute of our stay in this upgraded, well maintained, and clean condo. The loft was perfect for my daughter and we could be on the beach in minutes.

The rental was clean and beautifully decorated. The kitchen was supplied with everything I needed for cooking. I loved the Kurig coffeemaker! We could sit on our deck and watch the ocean. We even saw dolphins one morning. Thanks for a great vacation get away.

We had a lovely stay. The only obstacle was the narrow spiral stairs. Every thing was well supplied and management was outstanding.

Enjoy nice view and sound of the waves from a warm living room. Morning coffee and sunrises. Good food for take out or fresh seafood to prepare yourself. Easy ferry ride to South Port. Good biking and walking areas.

Lovely condo on the beach. Well stocked kitchen and comfortable furniture makes this unit a great choice. Loved sitting on the deck in the morning watching the sun rise. Used the recreation center twice and the trails were awesome around the area.

We had great weather and a fantastic rental. It was clean and had everything we needed. Have rented thru A1 Properties several times before and love both the Ocean Dunes Units we have stayed in.

The absolute best vacation!!! The condo was very clean, the kitchen was equipped to the highest standards!!!! David with the management team was awesome, we enjoyed our stay so much that we called him and extended our stay then when we did leave, he called to inform us we had left medication in fridge. The condo was advertised as ocean front and it was. The absolute best stay ever. We will be back!!!!!

The condo is definitely in good nick, tastefully decorated with a tasteful eclectic vibe. We had an amazing week with some terrific fishing on the pier and on a charter boat. Fishing on the beach is difficult if you plan on bottom fishing as it is rocky. But once we stitched to top-side fishing we had much better luck.

I’ve stayed at Ocean Dunes for about 12 years. This condo was by far the best! It was well stocked, super clean, super comfortable, and decorated very nicely. I felt very much at home and comfortable!

This condo was perfect for our family. It was clean and in great condition. The location was perfect. The property manager was very nice and helpful.

This condo was beautifully decorated, clean, and comfortable for 2, and had a cool loft bedroom & bath for 2 more. Only suggestion for owner is to add mattress topper because the mattress is hard and we both woke up with joint pain. Nice deck with ocean view, though limited between buildings on either side. Beach was small but not crowded and allowed for proper distancing. Very close to Kure Beach Pier, Fort Fisher State Park, and Ferry to Southport. We enjoyed sunset from the Fort Fisher boating access area just past the ferry entrance.

we've stayed in Kure for most years of the past 9. We've stayed in all different OD units with several realty companies. This was one of our faves - units and companies. Very nicely decorated and furbished. Disappointingly (but understandably) the pools and rec center were closed this year. Unit had everything we needed (except a standard coffee pot - we didn't bring the needed K cups) and more. A1 was great to work with - simple check in/out, no fuss - I like that. No need to stop by the office in or out. Combo door lock made for both a convenient check-in and back & forth from the beach! Good rental policies and nice to have things like hand soap and starter paper products. Great week!

Very clean, easy walk to the beach, plenty of space, had everything we needed to feel like home. Would definitely love to stay here again.

The perfect summer getaway! We loved the condo and the beautiful (and quiet Kure Beach) Our favorite restaurant was Ocean Grill, excellent burgers and fish tacos. And for stay-in meal nights, check out the Veggie Wagon! Great take-n-bake options, delish! Don't leave without planning an adventure to Shark Tooth Island, a great experience for families and kids, either by boat or kayak! We certainly hope to return again soon, thanks for such a great place to call home.

Great experience, the condo was just what we needed, can’t beat the beachfront view from the patio and easy access to the beach!

We stay at different beach and mountain locations pretty regularly. Kure beach is only a short distance from the Carolina Inn boardwalk, and also a short distance to Ft Fisher. The beach area is a bit smaller than some of the other coastal areas. The condo was great! Everything, and I mean everything was there. We used the slow cooker, and everything was available just like a regular home kitchen. King bed was a bit firm for us. Everything was clean, and more spacious than other locations. We were really surprised at the internet speed, and Roku TV’s. Great place to stay!!

This trip was on where me and my wife Linda just said let's get away for a long weekend. Could not have been more pleased with our unit. Would love to revisit soon.

A perfect spot to be! right there! on the water!!! Tho one's view is limited to directly in front, given buildings are on each side, the water is so close, and the sunrise view is perfect. The kitchen is well stocked, appliances appear brand new, and there are many personal touches which will add to your comfort. It was our first visit to the area, and tho it is off season, Kure Beach has a more quiet and less harried feeling than some other beach areas. If you are interested in Civil War history, you will not be disappointed.

The space was perfect for my husband and I. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom off the master had a great shower and the kitchen had all you needed to cook meals at home. What a relaxing week! We look forward to returning in the future.
