Hitt'n the Beach

We stayed in this condo last summer, and booked it again this summer, and we still love it. Upon arrival it was exceptionally clean! There were also some improvements since last summer including new stylish end tables, all TVs were Roku TVs, and the master bedroom mattress was greatly improved from last year (it's still a little firm for my preference, but I tend to like medium firmness and not firm). For years we've traveled with our Roku stick so that we can watch our favorite streaming services, but we didn't have to fool with that this year thanks to the new TVs, which was nice. The kitchen has just about everything you could possibly want including lots of plates, bowls, glasses, and adequate silverware. There were also 2 large pots, which were very helpful the night we made crab legs and a shrimp boil (the only thing missing was crab crackers, so bring your own if you plan to cook crab or lobster). Everything about this condo is wonderful including the proximity to the beach (it's so close!), the quiet neighborhood, and the pool across the street which our kids enjoyed swimming in every evening. A1 Property Management was responsive to messages, including when I called them a few days before our arrival to ask if we could arrive a few hours before official check-in time so that we could go to the beach until the 4pm check-in time. And yes, we could, which was nice! We just made sure to park in the middle spot and not block in the cleaners that were in the other spot. And again, the cleaners really did an excellent job! I'm the type of person who shows up to rentals with Clorox wipes and a Swiffer (lol) and I found that that really wasn't necessary with this condo. Also, all the beds had mattress and pillow protectors (something I always expect as a former home rental host, but don't always find when I arrive at places).

We're very happy with this condo and we hope to stay there again next year!

I organized a surprise birthday weekend for my cousin and 5 of our family members. We had a wonderful weekend and the Hittn the Beach condo was a beautiful property, very clean, well stocked and beautifully decorated. The convenience to everything was ideal. Being right across from the beach was amazing.

The place was so cute and close to the beach! We never used the pool but it looked nice. Great place to stay!

The rental was very clean, perfect size for my family of 6. The beach access was right across the street from us. An easy walk to boardwalk area for shopping, ice-cream or food. Parking for 3 was helpful. The pool area was small and needed attention, needed cleaned and some maintenance. That was probably the only major draw back we had.

Came down with another family for a quick beach getaway. The property was very clean. The kitchen is well furnished. Would definitely come back.

Just returned from home after a wonderful 5 night stay at Hitt’n The Beach! Oh my goodness, this place was better than described. The furnishings and decor were beautiful. Anything you need (other than a pizza cutter ) is in that kitchen. The location was great.
I always try to leave rentals a little better than when I arrived, but this one was difficult. It was spotless!
We will definitely be back....sooner than later, I hope!

We have stayed in this unit before so knew the home & location were great. My suggestion for this unit is update the showers & add grab bars. Otherwise a great place.

We had a wonderful week at Hitt'n the Beach. We had two adults and four kids and felt like there was plenty of space. The kitchen was loaded with everything we needed to make three meals a day for all of us. The location was AMAZING! 1-minute walk to the beach and the pool. We got home yesterday and miss it already!

This was one of the nicest cleanest rentals we've ever stayed at. In the listing it looks like the pool and beach access are a little ways away. When we got there it was literally right across the street. We had a very small issue with one of the toilets and the property manager had it fixed within 3 hours. The handle was sticking and I just wanted to make them aware was not a issue that needed addressed right away,but they did. Great location a short walk to the boardwalk and like I said right across the street for beach access. We would absolutely look into renting again next time we go. My family and I have been going to Carolina beach for 8 years now and we absolutely love it there.

From booking to all emails and texts etc, great communication with the property managers. The restaurant suggestions, accommodations and location were remarkably spot on. Super comfy beds and sofas. Great views yet private with the palm trees at the deck. Fully stocked kitchen and pantry and even has a little toddler booster seat for the table. Loads of books, card and board games to entertain yourself if it rains ( but let’s hope it doesn’t)
We were amazed at the cleanliness and supplies that we had. I brought a table cover for outdoors which we thought brighten up the table a bit. Location to beach and pool is perfect even when we brought our 11 mo. Old grandson. Easy access to pool but it isn’t shaded so be prepped for that. There is so much room. We had 5 people total but could easily have had another small family with us and been comfy. There are 2 doors to get into the unit and it’s very safe, well lit. Storage locker downstairs has beach chairs, buckets, surfboard etc. plenty to use. What is shown in the VRBO site is very accurate. Water pressure was great- hot and cold worked perfectly. We loved it so much this year that we pre booked for a longer stay next year- same week. Great place. Nothing better priced for what we got this year. It is so close to the boardwalk, rides and Britts donuts and restaurants. Great gelato place on the boardwalk too. Can’t thank the managers enough.

Great experience for our 3-generation family. Condo was well-maintained and well-equipped. Location was very convenient for allowing the 8-and 10-year-old grandchildren to go to the beach briefly unsupervised. Great places to eat within walking distance. Overall made for great spring break memories.

Beautiful condo; one of the nicest we have stayed at in Carolina Beach. Beach access was very simple as well as it was within walking distance to the boardwalk. Thankful y'all worked with us on changing our dates but we were a little disappointed the pool was closed. Overall would highly recommend!

We stayed the week before the 4th. Condo was clean, plenty of linens and towels were provided. Towels are a bit small for adults but it’s no different than hotel size. Condo is located on the 2nd floor (lowest level condo). No elevator and narrow stairwell made unloading and loading a bit difficult but not impossible. The condo is secure.
Kitchen was not as stocked as some other condos we have stayed in. Definitely not many kid safe plates/cups.
Only big complaint is the chair on the master bedroom balcony is completely rusted and the mesh seat is torn off the frame. If someone doesn’t look and sits in it they will get injured.

We had a great time. Beautiful condo and easy access to beach, pool, restaurants and lots of activities.

This property is in a fantastic location and is well maintained. We enjoyed our stay and close proximity to the beach and pool.

We absolutely loved "Hittin the beach." The location is perfect, a very quick walk to the beach (we didn't even put shoes on). Close to everything. The house was clean and fully stocked.

This is our second year renting Hit-The-Beach. in Carolina Beach North Carolina. This is a great place for us as it is convenient to many restaurants, the pier and it has a great view of the ocean. David, AJ and the owners are very helpful in making our time here as comfortable as possible. We certainly recommend this rental and we hope to return again in December-
