Ocean Dunes 1306

We love Kure Beach and this was our second visit! We won’t be going anywhere else! This condo has the best view - it really feels like you are on the beach while on either balcony. This was by far the cleanest place we have stayed in a rental! Kudos to the cleaning crew - even the laundry area was clean! The kitchen is very well stocked too - making it easy to prepare meals, if desired! We had a great vacation and hope to stay in Ocean Dunes 1306 when we come back!

Enjoyed many aspects of the property from proximity to the beach, indoor and outdoor pools, the condo itself was nicely appointed and clean. Outside of several of the buildings looking a bit weathered with some rust spots on the balconies exterior but otherwise in great condition. Beach is quiet (which is great compared to Carolina Beach) but it's a bit of a haul to stores (10-12 minutes) and a few restaurants close by but most are closer to Carolina Beach. Surf was a bit stronger than other locations we have stayed in Carolina and Florida, but when the tide rolls out there was a sandbar 30 yards out which was 2 inch deep water and great for families/kids to hang out. Close to the aquarium which we really enjoyed. Overall, highly recommend.

A1 Property Management and Ocean Dunes, wowed us again. From check in to check-out, comfort, convenience, well supplied kitchen and comfortable beds, this 3 bedroom top floor condo was awesome. The view was breathtaking, sunrises were not missed on the balcony overlooking the ocean. Perfect in everyway.

Home was beautiful. Had all the necessary items to make it a home away from home for a long weekend with family.
Could have been a little cleaner (sweep under sofa, dust ceiling fans, & light fixtures in kitchen). More seating in the living room would have also been nice, but we just moved a chair.
Overall it was great!!!

We had a wonderful week at this property! The condo was very clean and well maintained with a well-stocked kitchen. Sitting on the deck with morning coffee or afternoon cocktails was delightful! Lots to see and do nearby when we weren't enjoying the convenient access to the beach. Definitely plan on returning in the future!

This rental property was very clean, had plenty of items to cook with, and paper products, soap etc. The proximity to the ocean was perfect! It was a wonderful place for my dad to enjoy with his daughter and grandchildren.

The condo was clean, well equipped and very comfortable. My wife ended up breaking her knee cap on our third day of vacation so we pretty much stayed in. The view of the ocean kept us entertained and helped make her healing a little easier. A great place to stay and we had no issues with the condo.

Despite some days being chilly and windy, we really enjoyed our stay. Quiet end of the beach which we like. Could fish from beach right in front - and caught fish! Rec center was great. Carolina Beach State Park worth a visit - especially birding hike. "Michael's" seafood restaurant and "Biscuits" shop great. Clean, well designed and cozy condo! Good internet too!

We loved our stay at this updated oceanfront condo! The location can’t be beat- you can hear the ocean from inside the condo - we even spied dolphins while sitting inside! Being so close with such easy access, we were able to spend lots of time at the beach too! We came during off season, but being at the end of the peninsula made for not much traffic and so few people on the beach. We hope to be able to come back and stay at this quiet location again!

We had a wonderful stay in Kure Beach! The views from the condo were spectacular! Condo had everything we needed for a week at the beach. Would love to come again.

We loved the upgrades to the kitchen!! Having a built in cabinet was a perfect place to house all of the non-perishable food items off the counter. And love the extra long counter allowing food prep as well as space as a bar/eating area. The new mattress in the master (king bed) slept wonderfully. The only downside was the my husband and I are height challenged (my husband is 5’1 and I am 5’4’) and needed a boost to get into bed - the top of the mattress came to slightly above my waist. We brought a step stool for assistance for our grandson for the bathroom sink that we ended up using to get into bed. Still, we will be glad to reserve this condo again!!!

A Wonderful vacation with the sound of the waves lulling us to sleep.

It was a great experience overall. We were especially pleased with the well-stocked kitchen. The only part we dislike is making our own beds.

The location and condo did not disappoint. The condo wasn't as clean as I would have liked, but it was a great vacation for us. The restaurants were a bit of a let down because they were closed half the time we were there, but that also meant the beach wasn't crowded at all. Overall, it was a good vacation spot. You just can't beat that view.

Beautiful Condo with all amenities and excellent location. Quiet area close to the aquarium, town and right on the beach. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay there and think the only thing that could have been better was internet speed. My wife and I were both working remotely at the time and the internet speed was not sufficient to permit video calls for the both of us with our son on wifi as well. A1 Property Management tried to rectify the situation for us with the owner however the wifi is an Association agreement and not open to adjustment. If we were not working at the time then everything would have been perfect. Just an FYI to those who might want to stay there and work for the week with the beauty of the ocean just outside your sliding door.

This is our second stay in Ocean Dunes. First time in this condo. It was so beautifully decorated, immaculate and with the most spectacular view you could ask for! We were able to relax and recharge. We will be back to stay at this condo again!

Spacious condo right on the ocean. Other pluses: good parking, good communication with property management, had all the cooking gear we needed, internet worked well. Minuses: The king bed mattress is uncomfortable and needs replacing, and would have appreciated an umbrella for the deck table (like the other surrounding condos).

We really enjoyed our stay and will return; the unit was well equipped and clean for our families vacation. Thanks to all that make these nice accommodations happen

Very cute place right on the ocean. This was our first time on NC coast even thought we live in NC . The rooms were spacious and clean. Kitchen was very well stocked- the only suggestion would be to have a few open cabinets to put food, but we just rearranged and then put it back on our departure. It was well stocked with supplies so def check it out before you go
To the store. The view was the living room and bedroom was gorgeous.

We rented the condo for 2 weeks in early April. The weather was beautiful, and the location of the condo couldn't be better. The condo is nicely decorated in blues and browns reflecting the ocean right outside the sliding glass doors.
The beds are comfortable, but not brand new. The bed in the second bedroom is a double, not queen.
The kitchen is equipped with everything you'll need for a stay at the beach, including items like cookie sheets, 13 x 9 pans, and a steam pot (which we used to steam a shrimp boil from Cape Fear Shrimp Boil Company. Yum!).
The condo is on the top (third) floor, which we prefer, but may be difficult for those with mobility issues, since there is no elevator.
We had a few issues that needed attention, which A1 corrected immediately. We have stayed in Kure Beach several times, have always rented from A1 Property Management, and will continue to do so. We love the area, the quiet beaches, and taking the ferry to Southport!!

The condo was clean and A1 quickly responded to our questions. This was my second stay here and it was perfect in every way. Loved sitting on the balcony so close to the ocean.

We had a wonderful time on this right-on-the-beach condo! Plenty of space and two bathrooms for 5 people. Kitchen was also fairly well equipped.

Our experience here was terrific! The booking and check-in easy; the mattresses comfy, the kitchen well stocked for cooking, and the oceanfront view beautiful. Even though the pools were closed (check this before booking), the weather cooperated and the pools were not needed. The trail at Fort Fisher is still open and made for great walking. The NC Aquarium is very close, but due to COVID closure might as well been on the other side of the country. My grandchildren are used to us renting a bigger house when the whole family is together at the beach. They were disappointed that they had to share the outdoor shower with other people. We were glad for any outdoor shower!

When we arrived, I emailed them about beach chairs. Even though it was after hours, they brought them over in minutes.

My husband and I enjoyed our coffee and tea during our quiet early mornings on the deck. Kids had so much fun on the beach and taking walks with our flashlights. We enjoyed the DVDs and had board game tournaments! My middle son with autism was so relaxed just looking and listening to the waves. He was able to enjoy the water and on this quiet beach, no one was staring at him. He was able to "Just Be!"

Property:   Lovely, fresh, and homey condo with wonderful access to everything we needed. Beautifully designed for comfort and livability, it's extrememly close to the water, and we had the delight of watching both the full moon and the sunrise directly over the ocean off the back deck. We walked along the beach to close-by restaurants and were a very short drive from several activities. This is an easy property to recommend to both family and friends, and one we intend to book again in the future.

Property:   The condo was quaint and exactly what we were looking for in a relaxing winter beach trip. Literally just steps from the ocean we were able to hear the waves and watch sunrises. It was so cozy, our 2 year old quickly referred to it as "home" while we were there. The property management is by far one of the best I have dealt with and even took the extra time to provide a great list of "things to do" which we took full advantage of. We could have walked to the Aquarium or the Ferry. It was the perfect location for us and we enjoyed the condo very much! Well equipped for a dinner or breakfast in!
