1st-we have to commend A1 Property rentals for their amazing and exceptional management -from topmost professionalism, exceptional quality of care, great communication, and immediate responsiveness if there is ever an issue-makes traveling an ease. This property was beyond expectation re: views, artful decor, comfortable beds, plentiful parking, well stocked kitchen, cleanliness, all the extras provided (elevator, beach toys 4 kids, beach towels, beach chairs, detailed restaurant guide & things to do, etc). We travel often and far...but this ranks in our top 3 favs! Don’t miss this perfect get away experience-you won’t be disappointed!!

Octopus Garden is beautiful and well maintained. But beyond those pleasures, there are unexpected supplies like TP, laundry detergent, dishwasher detergent, soap for washing dishes, handsoap near every sink (kitchen and bathroom), more dishes than we needed, well stocked kitchen. We are so grateful!

This place is exactly how it's described. Beautifully appointed, quality furniture and bedding, super clean and in a great location!! Excellent place for a family vacation. We had an issue when we first arrived with the elevator, but a call into AJ with A1 Property Management and it was quickly resolved.

I come here as often as my job will let me. It is truly my Home Away from Home. Perfect location, always clean and any issues are handled expediently. Couldn’t praise A1 Management and the entire staff enough. Definitely wouldn’t stay anywhere else.

Spacious, very clean and comfortable beach duplex. Many extra amenities such as liquid soap in every bathroom, beach towels, beach chairs, hair dryers and very well equipped kitchen. Kid friendly spaces too. One of the best beach rentals I've ever stayed in!

Octopus Garden was a comfortable rental for us in a good location and we really appreciated the quick service we received on some of the issues we experienced. Overall, it was a wonderful week.

Octopus Garden is spacious, clean, and amazingly well stocked. The dishwasher leaves a little to be desired. Otherwise, I wouldn't change a thing!!

This home was wonderful. Decor is fun. The kitchen has everything you could possibly want. Given our age, the elevator is a must. The issues we had were user error, and responded to immediately. Plenty of beach toys for the little one, and chairs for the rest. You cannot go wrong in choosing this home for your vacation.

We LOVE Octopus Garden! This is the 4th year our family has stayed here, and the property is amazing. This year we had the pleasure of personally meeting the owners, who clearly take a lot of pride in this gorgeous home. We love the big porch, the kitchen (fully stocked) and my kids love the bunk beds! The only recommendation (and truly, this is just a pie in the sky 'love to have' since we will be coming back to this home every year as long as its available... we would love to have an outdoor hot/cold shower -- and it would REALLY cut down on the amount of sand in the bathrooms! There is a hose/shower on the boardwalk that you share with next door, but obviously sand still gets trucked into the shower inside the bathrooms. There are plenty of brooms and vacuums to clean this up, however, and I appreciate how well stocked and clean the house is. We LOVE this property and will be back again next year.

This house was just as described and photographed. Beautifully decorated and all the things you need. Just pack your clothes and sunscreen. LOVED having the beach chairs, grill and relaxing places and decks to enjoy our stay. It is located in the middle of Kure and Carolina Beach which was a plus for us for getting to restaurants and stores. We finally got to get to the restaurant Havanas- it was the best :) The beach access was the closest to the beach of any house we have previously rented, and I liked having a lifeguard stand near our house. There was a hiccup with the elevator but A1 Property was prompt in returning the call and quick to resolve the problem. My boys enjoyed the chess set for the storms that passed through (plenty of different games for all ages)My most high compliment was the cleanliness of the house and the classy touches as in "designer sheets on every bed!!" We would highly recommend this rental. Thanks again for a wonderful vacation.

Overall a great place and location! Right on the beach, in the middle area, south of the boardwalk area so less busy on the beach! Unit was really clean, many amenities and with new beds! Plus was having an elevator!
A1 management was great to work with! We would rent with them and this unit again!
Only giving 4/5 stars because needs new couches (you sink)
and unit is duplex and is non- smoking so if neighbor is smoking on
balcony....well they aren’t supposed to (talked with A1 and other unit is different rental company). Neighbor stopped smoking on deck after couple days. Overall great unit!!

This was a delightful rental for our 2 family beach vacation. We had 4 children ages 10-2 and the unit was roomy, comfortable, and beautifully decorated! We felt that we had an entirely private beach. When we experienced minor problems the management responded immediately to rectify the situation.

Octupus garden was a fantastic rental find. We would absolutely stay there again. Everything was so well thought out and furnished. The location and beach views can’t be beat. Also, I’m a stickler for cleanliness and it was spotless.
A1 rental staff were so helpful and enjoyable to work with as well. They went above and beyond to help me during the booking process.

We had a lovely time at this location. They had a beautiful home that held all 11 of my family members perfectly. I would reccomend this place to my friends and family. The owner helped us quickly when the lift stopped working and even brought over a lovely bottle of wine as an apology. The beach access from the home was amazing and the beach towels and such were provided, which was GREAT!

A group of family and friends stayed at Octopus's Garden after attending my son's wedding in Wilmington. Everything was perfect. The house was stocked beyond what we needed or even wanted. My only regret is that we didn't book it for longer.

Our family had the most wonderful time staying in the best beach house ever. Plenty of room. They had all we needed for the house and enjoying the beach. Clean and perfect!! We will certainly be staying again.

Love this place. It’s my go to CBNC home. Peaceful, calming decor (in my own taste). Prefer staying in off season for the Serenity. Perfect place to escape and couldn’t ask for a better more attentive Management Company. Will definitely be back again and again.

We just spent a few glorious, relaxing days at the OG. This home is the most well appointed rental property that I have ever stayed in. The whimsical Octopus themed decor is delightful. The location is perfect, the views from the decks are breathtaking, we loved watching the sun rise every morning. This home is very well managed, it is spotless with every attention to detail covered. We will definitely return and spread the word about this magical Octopus’s Garden by the sea!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house was stocked with every essential you could think of. Never seen that before in a rental. Loved the Octopus decorations...over the top. Love the convenient location to shops and restaurants. Houses really packed in and tight in this area. Beach wasn’t crowded. It was like having our own private beach. Would definitely rent this house again.

perfect setting for a week of leisure

This was a great location for family and extended family to spend the week! Plenty of space on the main floor with the kitchen for the whole family to gather and the kids loved their room downstairs!

This house met every expectation. It was exactly as described. Very clean and spacious for 2 families. The location was outstanding. The only downside was the handicapped accessibility to the beach. The porch/walkway leading to the beach had 2-3 sets of steps, so we mainly sat on the porch with our son in his wheelchair, which was still plenty perfect for him. Overall, this was a wonderful weekend away that was much needed.

We had a wonderful stay for our family vacation. The home was beautiful and clean and we really loved all the Octopus decor! We had everything that we needed for our week stay. The location was perfect...close enough to walk or bike to the many restaurants, businesses and the boardwalk. The views were fabulous! The management company was easy to work with and the process was seamless. You will not be disappointed if you stay here!

Everything was delightful. From breathtaking sunrises to peaceful dinners on the balcony. They have thought of everything necessary for a seamless stay. We loved the elevator for our three senior guests.
We had a little hiccup understanding the elevator when we arrived. I called the contact number and they answered on first ring and walked me through the steps. Very patient and kind.
Email Communication leading up to the trip was great.
We rented a beach wheelchair from the parks and rev dept, at no cost, for our 93 yr old guest and she had the time of her life.
Everything was spotless, all necessary cooking, eating and drinking tools were provided. Down to flashlights for nighttime beach walks to hunt for crabs.
Can’t wait to go back next year!

Awesome place, 5*’s, all amenities were top notch, spectacular views and easy each access right from the back deck.

Beautiful place - clean and well-maintained! Access to beach was so easy and we appreciated the beach chairs. Could have used two more dish towels in the kitchen. We definitely recommend the place and hope to return next summer. We enjoyed our morning trip to South Port and afternoon Kayak adventure to Shark Tooth Island!

Wonderful week! Plenty of room for everyone. Fully stocked kitchen made cooking in easy. Great location with rented umbrellas waiting each morning at the end of the walkway.

We were very excited to stay at the Octopus Garden once again. The renovations were very nice. The entire place had a fresh new feel. We enjoyed every moment of our stay.

The elevator was wonderful to have, but the stairs were fun too! The amenities provided were wonderful as well. Not having to purchase and carry around beach equipment was a godsend. When we booked this rental for a short spring break stay there were no photos of it yet but we were told by A1 that it was going to be beautiful and decided to trust them ( We have stayed at their properties before and know they have high standards). We are so glad we did! Octopus Garden is a lovely rental. It is spacious, super clean, well equipped, and has the most lovely views. The porches are great, we spent a lot of time just sitting staring at the ocean. The patch of beach in front of the property stayed relatively empty, especially compared to areas farther up the beach which were crowded. It made it easy to stay socially distant while enjoying the beach. We were very impressed with this location and would consider returning someday!
