I loved our stay. Everything was perfect! Beds were comfortable.WIFI was excellent for working from home. We appreciated all the extras being there such as tissues, toilet paper and paper towels Loved waking up and seeing the ocean. Great location to walk to town. A1 was also very attentive for any of our needs. Thank you

Lovely and relaxing

We thoroughly enjoyed our week in this wonderfully appointed beach house! Plenty of space for us, our daughter + husband along with 6 month old grandson. The proximity to the beach is always a priority for us and this place has that as well as overall great location. The Veggie Wagon is a favorite and within walking distance as well as other local spots. We look forward to visiting again!

Our family had a wonderful time at the condo. We felt at home, steps to the ocean and a very clean unit. We loved the proximity to everything, we were able to walk to the boardwalk and restaurants! We hope to return soon!!

Location is convenient to boardwalk, restaurants, beach. We are 4 adults & 2 children. There is enough room for all of us. Being on the beach means we came up for lunch everyday & then went back down. The condo felt clean. Only suggestions are new mattresses & master shower door didn’t want to close. This is our third stay here& won’t be our last!

Beautiful beach house with a well stocked kitchen and super comfortable beds!! We had a great time and hope to be back soon! The only suggestion is it would be great for at least 2 towels and 2 washcloths be provided pee person instead of just 1 each. Doing laundry everyday on vacation is just not fun!

Being able to walk out to the beach on the private walkway is a huge plus. The views are great from the back deck area and it was relatively quiet during our stay. There are plenty of great restaurants in the area, which we took full advantage of. We will definitely be back again.

This was one of the best experiences. The house was well kept and clean. The view was spectacular and perfect for a family of 4 with two young children. It was close to get to and from the beach. The beach was clean and was not very crowded. The people in town are friendly and very accommodating.

Great place to stay. Would recommend to anyone wanting to stay on the beach.

Our second year at this condo & we will be back next year. We had such a great time. Enjoyed the boardwalk, the restaurants, the beach & a place that felt like home. Our only suggestion is new mattresses would be much appreciated, although we all slept well after a day at the beach.

Everything at Sandpiper Crossing exceeded our expectations. Great beachfront location with easy access. First class accommodation. Would return any time and always highly recommend to family & friends. A1 Rental staff very responsive to a problem over noisy storm shutters.

The Sandpiper was a great place for a beach weekend. It was an easy walk to the Carolina Beach Boardwalk area. The condo was very nice and had everything we needed. It is the perfect place for a family getaway with wonderful beach views.

Our family of four (2 toddlers) recently stayed at this property. We’ve been vacationing in CB for many years now. This was our first time staying at this property and it did not disappoint! The condo was very clean with modern updates and nice beach house decor. Location was excellent, with amazing views and access to the ocean/beach. The house had everything we needed and was very comfortable. Booking process and check in/out process was simple with no issues. If we had to make one recommendation it would be to improve the mattress in the master bedroom (was pretty uncomfortable). We would definitely recommend this property and hope to stay here again in the future.

We had four adults and one baby, and it was a perfect size. Kitchen was great for easy meals; living room was comfortable; porch was a great hangout. Loved the easy access to the beach. Very well appointed, modern, clean unit.

Spent a four day weekend with our two boys and parents at sandpiper crossing. The place was great, with 2 parking spots underneath and well appointed with all amenities needed for a great trip. Private access to the beach was super convenient at the dual shower heads in the master bath helped with getting the kids cleaned up between beach outings. All rooms had TVs with wi-fi and kitchen was up to date. Overall it was a great choice and everyone in the family is ready to return!

Sandpiper Crossing was a wonderful place to stay. Our family enjoyed being so close to the beach and restaurants. The place was very clean and had everything could possibly need. We will definitely stay here again and would recommend it to friends and family.

The good:
The condo is exactly as pictured on the listing. Decor was updated and tasteful...minimal enough that there was plenty of room for your belongings.

It was spotless upon arrival. Not even that gritty feel that we had come to expect from any beach place. Kudos to the hosts for their cleaning service.

The proximity to the beach can't be beat. We could hear the waves from the back deck and having the hose-off station on the walkway to and from the beach was great. The beach was never crowded and we never had to rush down to get a spot.

Loved that there were enough supplies to get you through the first few days -- paper towels, toilet paper, coffee filters, etc. We did do a grocery delivery on the way (from Publix), but it was just nice not to feel like we had to rush out and get stuff OR haul a ton of stuff down.

It was very quiet. We could occasionally hear traffic or people's voices upstairs/next door, but it was VERY minimal. We never heard people upstairs going in or out or walking around.

The other feedback:

The houses on either side are kind of an eye-sore and if those residents are also outside, you don't have much privacy. The house could benefit from some privacy shutters or curtains on either side of the back deck.

The provided bedding was heavily fragranced, so if that bothers you, plan on doing laundry ASAP or bringing our own from home. It was also very light and we couldn't find any extra blankets in the house except for one (which might've been because of covid precautions, not sure) so if you like to sleep with a heavier blanket, bring your own.

Master queen mattress felt like a slab of concrete. It was very uncomfortable.

The rooms facing the front of the condo could really benefit from some room darkening shades. We brought window coverings because we have little ones and it was still pretty bright.

Overall, the proximity to the beach and to the Car

Excellent stay! Location and cleanness top notch. Had a great time! I would only recommend changing to different towels. Though they were very plush they do not absorb water at all.

Clean, nicely appointed, plenty of room for 4 adults & two children. Our granddaughters enjoyed having a tv in their rooms. Rental management staff were always very helpful.

This was a much needed vacation for all of us! We are all essential workers and this was a perfect place for a getaway! Location was in walking distance to boardwalk and restaurants. Waking up to the beautiful sunrise every morning was amazing. Loved being able to walk right out on the beach! We will definitely be back!

Location and housing were great. A 1 was very responsive to any questions regarding the property. Owner should consider new queen mattresses as both are not very good.

Awesome place! Great condition and very clean. EVERYTHING you need is there. So many little things in the kitchen and around the unit were available. If you need something, just look around and it's probably there! We ordered groceries from a nearby Food Lion a couple days before we left and picked them up when we got there. Very convenient.

We had an issue with a slow draining shower and A1 showed up right away and fixed it quickly. The maintenance staff were friendly and masked, which we appreciated. Linens were delivered clean and sealed in a bag due to COVID-19. So we had made our own beds, but we preferred that anyway!

The beach in front of the unit was great and our area was not very crowded for mid July. 1/4 -1/2 mile north and south of us near the big condo units, the beaches were a bit more crowded. The private boardwalk to our house was nice. The kids said surfing was great and the sand was good for sculpting. Fort Fisher State Park (3-4 miles south) is great for sunset pics and a nice walkabout. We only ate out once due to COVID, but Havana's was great! They had lots of outdoor seating and nicely spaced tables. Great family vacation!

Wonderful week at Carolina Beach!

We had an incredible time at your beach house! It was so clean, beautifully decorated, and the beach access was second to none. To be able to walk right out to beach on private walkway at a moment’s notice was amazing. The walks on beach at sunrise and sunset were so peaceful and very much enjoyed. The close proximity/walking distance to a few of our favorite island spots was so great. This was our favorite place we have stayed in Carolina Beach and we can’t wait to come back!

Had a great time at your place! Layout worked great for a couple and a family of 4. Loved our nights on the porch hearing the ocean & the quick access back from the beach for lunches! Location was great for going out for dinners and we loved the open kitchen for dinner in. Perfect 75* beach days and memories made. We hope to come back again!

Perfect location for a relaxing few days on the beach. The property offers any amenities you would need to be comfortable. Would book again for sure.

Our second stay at Sandpiper! This place is perfect for a family of 5. We have a college age son and 3 teens. Perfect amount of downtime and things to do. Hang 10 Grill doesn't disappoint and we made use of Instacart to have our groceries delivered. Great fishing for the boys- both on shore and at Wrightsville. Tons of Spanish mackerel! We will return in fall.

This property was perfect for our family of 6. Prime location for direct access to beach. Well stocked kitchen & house. Within walking distance to town & eateries. Would definitely consider again for a return trip to Carolina Beach!
