Welcome to Sandpiper Cottage, an ocean side property with an ocean view, private beach walkway just steps to the beach, and it's dog friendly! Enjoy a vacation of relaxation, convenience, sand and sea at Sandpiper Cottage here in Carolina Beach. Sandpiper Cottage has two ocean view balconys as well as views from the living room, kitchen, and master bedroom. The sofa has a pull out queen size bed available with linens provided. The kitchen is stocked with dishes, utensils, as well as basic appliances such as a refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, oven, wash/dryer, and coffee machine. We also provide bed linens and bath towels, hand soap, toilet paper, paper towels, and enough garbage bags for a short terms stay. If you are looking to explore the island, we have two beach cruiser bikes available in the garage. If you would like to grill out we have a propane grill on-site. This property is dog friendly, with a limit of 2 dogs and a non-refundable pet fee.
We are a little island but with lots of fun things to do: the NC Aquarium, Fort Fisher Civil War museum, our famous boardwalk, two fishing piers, Britt's Donuts (an institution since 1939), Squigley's Ice Cream Shop, and Freeman Park - where you can drive out and camp right on the beach. We offer free live bands, carnival rides, and fireworks during the summer and of course have some delicious seafood restaurants. What more could you want? You can book your reservation right from our website or, if you prefer, give us a call, and we'll be glad to help!

Town of Carolina Beach Dog Rules - All dogs are required to be on a leash at all times. April 1st through September 30th, dogs are allowed on the beach during restricted hours BEFORE 9:00 a.m. and AFTER 5:00 p.m. Dogs are not allowed on the beach between 9AM-5PM. October 1st through March 31st,dogs are allowed on the beach during all hours.

The condo was spacious and clean. Great place for our family weekend with our youngest who attends UNCW. Would stay again. Only unusual consideration was $200 cleaning fee for 3 nights and we had to get clean towels out of dryer and fold ourselves and was requested for guests to put towels in washer with bleach at check out and start the load. I had no problem doing those things except for hefty cleaning fee. Maybe consider lowering cleaning fee or not asking guests to be a part of cleaning. It was a first for us. However, there were many positives to the stay- location was awesome, nice area, easy access, bright enjoyable space, games, very comfortable beds. Quick responses from host. Hope to stay again!

Girls weekend - This place was perfect for a relaxing getaway for a girls weekend with my two friends. The home is beautiful, perfect location for walking or a quick drive to restaurants and boardwalk access to the beach. We enjoyed drinking our coffee on balcony and making meals together in the open kitchen. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. We appreciate the responsiveness of the host and the ease of check in/check out!

Even BETTER then the pictures!!! Check-in was super easy and the owner/host; Christina, is a gem! Very communicative and so sweet. Your on the beach, with your own private boardwalk access over the dunes. It’s not far from all the boardwalk attractions. It’s not a party crazy area & as a family with a younger child that was appreciated and the nightlife is just down the road if that’s what your looking for. Beds were comfortable, A/C was great. And I am in LOVE with the kitchen island! Lots of the essentials were provided, which is great, I would recommend this place to anyone! Definitely will stay here again. Thank you for everything Christina!
Very restful winter get away to decompress by walking on the beach (only steps away) and at the nearby state park.
