Fort Fisher 161st Anniversary Commemeration

Celebrate the 161st anniversary of Fort Fisher’s capture on January 17, 2026, with a free, family-friendly event from 9:00am–5:00pm. Enjoy Civil War–era living history displays, artillery demonstrations, guided tours, artifact highlights, and hands-on activities—many led by costumed reenactors. Public programs run from 10:00am–4:00pm, with select tours available for a small fee.
